Logistics
When you work in logistics you operate to tight margins. We always set out to provide practical, solutions that will meet your needs in the most efficient and commercially beneficial way.
We pride ourselves on our sector knowledge which means we know the economic and business pressures you face day to day. And we’ll also work to get to know your business and its objectives.
As a result we can see the bigger picture rather than simply the immediate legal issues. So we can give proactive and commercially sound advice. We’ll never sit on the fence or hide behind lengthy advice letters - instead we seek to find sensible cost effective solutions to the issues you face.
The logistics team provide advice across the broad spectrum of issues that you could face in the sector.
Property issues include Landlord and Tenant, acquisitions, disposals, property litigation and dilapidations claims.
Employment and litigation experience issues includes litigation and advocacy in the court and employment tribunals, TUPE in sourcing and outsourcing issues (including consultation issues and any litigation which arises from this process), multi-location re-organisations and re-structure, staff training in disciplinary and grievance, contract and service agreements, compromise agreements and executive exits.
Commercial issues include drafting and advising on commercial agreement and bills of lading.
Health and safety issues include advice on driving and tachograph offences and dealing with the Traffic Commissioner.
