What’s Hamish’s role?

Hamish works closely with some of the 460 partners and staff at Shakespeares to develop and implement strategies which achieve business growth and greater profile for the firm. He is also responsible for reviewing and helping develop strong relationships for our clients across the business. This means getting them the specific legal service and advice that the clients, and people considering new legal advisers, need.

What’s Hamish’s background?

Before joining Shakespeares, Hamish was Chief Executive at Guildhall Chambers in Bristol. A prominent figure in professional services management, he has held senior commercial roles at BDO and Simmons & Simmons in London. These followed eight years at Eversheds, where he was based at the firm’s Birmingham office for a number of years before becoming their Business Development & Marketing Director for the UK and international firm.
