New HR chief for Shakespeares

In the latest of a series of high-profile appointments, Shakespeares has appointed Simon Mennell as HR director across the firm’s seven offices.

Simon joins Shakespeares’ senior management team to work with partners and staff on leadership and training, alongside recruiting and developing people.

A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personal Development (CIPD), Simon has held various senior HR positions both in the UK and internationally including Dow Jones in Asia Pacific, Dubai World in the United Arab Emirates and more recently CPA Global based in Jersey.

Commenting on his new role Simon Mennell said: “Shakespeares has experienced rapid growth over the last five years and this is a perfect time to focus on the great talent the firm already has and the people we want to attract. I’m looking forward to being a part such a creative and growing organisation during such challenging times.”
